Tibetan Youth Summer Retreat, co-hosted by the Tibetan American Foundation of Minnesota (TAFM) and area Buddhist centers, Sera Jey Buddhist Cultural Center Minnesota, Gyuto Wheel of Dharma, and Sakya Thupten Dargye Ling. All instruction was provided in Tibetan, focusing on meditation, compassion, and purposeful living.
Sera Jey’s Kyabje khan Zur Rinpoche Lobsang Delek (Madhyamakāvatāra) having successfully completed a week, Dharma program and teachings in Minnesota, departed this morning at 9 :20 flight from Minnesota to California. Those who came to see him off gathered together at the airport to bid him farewell.
During the second term of the board members of the Minnesota Sera Jey Buddhist Cultural Center, President Geshe Ngawang Tenpa, Vice President Kalzang Wanggyal, Secretary Thubten Tadin, Treasurer Wang Ga, Accountant Sonam Dawa, Board Member Sang Ga, Board Member Phuntsok Dhondup, and Board Member Sherab Khamsakhamtsang, on February 11, 2026, purchased a new building for the cultural center locally.
